How to apply microcement.

Prepare the substrate
Clean and degrease tiles, plaster or concrete. Repair any cracks. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Apply our bonding primer and leave to dry for 4 hours.

Apply Microbase (2 coats)
Apply the first coat of Microbase with a trowel, embedding the fibreglass mesh. Leave to dry for 12 hours, then sand. Apply the second coat of Microbase. Sand again.

Apply Microfinishing or Microtraffic (2 coats)
Apply the chosen finish in a thin layer with a stainless-steel trowel. Allow 6 to 12 hours of recoat time between coats. Sand lightly between each coat.

Varnish
Apply the first coat of two-component polyurethane protective varnish. Wait 4 hours. Apply the second coat of varnish. Leave to dry for 24 hours before light use, and 7 days before heavy traffic or contact with water.
